Their career has been varied and diverse and included periods of mainstream visibility as a recording artist for Virgin Records and the inclusion of the single “I’ll Show You Something Special” on the soundtrack enduring classic film “Trains, Planes And Automobiles”. The band continues to produce new music and recently released a critically acclaimed 4 track EP “Forces Of Evil”.

CLAYTOWN TROUPE is a critically acclaimed British alternative rock band formed in 1984, gaining prominence in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s and carving a niche with atmospheric sounds and powerful live performances. These include supporting The Cult on their ‘Sonic Temple’ tour, Pearl Jam on their ‘Ten’ tour, the Fields of The Nephilim, The Wonder Stuff, The Damned as well as many sold out tours and headlines across Europe, and London at the Marquee Club and Astoria.

FLOWERS OF SACRIFICE originally formed in 1988 and played until 1993 when they decided to take a break – which lasted 25 years! 3RD MICHAEL BAILEY MEMORIAL CONCERT

SATURDAY 5 SEPT
Knaphill Scout Hall

The third Michael Bailey Memorial Concert, in aid of Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis, will take place on Saturday 5th September 2026 at Knaphill Scout Hall – formerly Knaphill Community Centre (or The Pit to those in the know).

Joining High Pop this time are local band, The C60s, featuring our great mate, Chris Pilott.

There will also be the customary prize raffle and a bar provided by The Crown.

The event is a late afternoon / early evening semi-acoustic session this time and there will be an after-show party back at The Crown in Knaphill. Both the Scout Hall and The Crown hold a special place in our hearts, as we used to rehearse at one and drink at the other back in the day. So we’re right back where we started from this time. I really hope you can join us as we remember Mike and raise money for this great charity.

Tickets £10 OTD
